New Free Columbia Mural in Philmont
Free Columbia, the arts initiative based in Philmont, has painted a new mural on the wall of the building that houses Family Dollar as well as the public space of Free Columbia. The mural depicts a scene of the river, hills and sky. The loading dock has become a picture of the mill building. All of this imagery was inspired by Philmont’s history as a mill town. The mural is given as a gift to Philmont in memory of long time Philmont resident Marilyn Tipple.
