Columbia County Council on the Arts’ (CCCA) Chatham Meadows Sculpture Show – a season-long outdoor sculpture show – opened on July 23rd, and runs through September 10 (101 Harmon Heights Rd., Chatham). Over 50 sculptures dot the landscape in a beautiful 15 acre exhibit site, including four pieces from Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School’s Art teacher Martina Muller. One of Martina’s sculptures received Honorable Mention honors (4th place). Nicole Hayes, sculpture director at the internationally famous Art Omi, was the show’s juror. There’s still plenty of time to check out the show, so grab a sculpture location map from the front porch at Chatham Meadows and take the self guided tour on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.
