HVS Student Art Display wins second place ribbon at Columbia County Fair

CHATHAM, NY–Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School students’ artwork was displayed at Columbia County Fair during Labor Day Weekend and was awarded Second Place for School Work Grades 6-12.

The display featured artwork created by students during the 2013-2014 academic year, and included mixed media pieces from self-portraits to landscapes. Melissa Frishkoff ’16 was awarded the Artist Award at the Fair for her tissue paper collage, and Ariana Chavez ’14 won an individual award for her oil self-portrait.
