HVS Alumnus Performs Recital at Camphill Ghent

Recital Poster 06_2016-2Hawthorne Valley School alumnus, Julian Müller (class of 2011), will perform with pianist Mayumi Tsuchida, at Camphill Ghent (2452 NY-66, Chatham, NY 12037) on Wednesday, June 1, at 7 p.m. The program includes works by Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Messiaen and Brahms. All are welcome to attend.

Having received his BA from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Müller is currently working toward his Master’s Degree in cello performance at the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan. He has appeared at numerous summer music festivals, and has played Carnegie Hall five times – four of which were with the New York String Orchestra under the direction of the world renowned Jaime Laredo.

The concert promises to be a treat for music lovers and a glimpse into the work of two emerging young artists.
