This bright yellow sauerkraut gets its color from the fresh tumeric root ground just before being added to the barrel. This spice combined with just the right amount of fresh whole hot chili peppers creates one of the most interesting flavored sauerkrauts, pairing excellently with grilled meats and, inparticular, artisan sausage.
