Hawthorne Valley CSA

Hawthorne Valley Farm has a 300–member Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and supplies organic and Biodynamic produce to Columbia County residents and to three New York City communities (Garden City, Inwood, and Riverdale). Over 40 varieties of vegetables are grown on 10 acres, and fruit shares from local farmers are also available.

For the CSA during the Growing Season, there are weekly deliveries of seasonally harvested, fresh vegetables from approximately mid-June through early November.

For the CSA during the Winter Season, there are deliveries every two weeks of seasonal winter storage vegetables from early December through mid-February.

In order to receive any of the fruit shares, either in summer or winter, a vegetable CSA share is required. Please be sure to add a Vegetable Share to your cart first, then go back and add any other types of shares you would like!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact farmer Lucy.

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

Community Supported Agriculture is not a regular customer-seller relationship. As a CSA member, you are the primary people we grow and harvest vegetables for, our first priority.

And as a CSA member, you become a part of the farm. You know just where your food comes from, how it is grown, and who is growing it. And, you are always welcome to come for a visit!
